L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara Black
I remember traveling in the US about three years ago, wandering around NYC aimlessly binge shopping and spending a FORTUNE on designer dresses in Bloomingdales because I was miserable (bad break-up.) I popped into the huge Sephora nearby and a lovely make-up artist stopped and spoke to me. I think she was the first person I'd spoken to all day who hadn't walked into me by mistake - seriously - I felt that bad (cue tiny violin.) Her eyelashes were amazing and she was the one who first told me just HOW GOOD L'oreal Voluminous mascara was. I've used it ever since, but having tried Million Lashes I'm definitely torn. It's clump-free, easy to apply and is perfect for quick daytime look. Plastic non-brush wands never really worked for me, but this one did the job and gave me that natural look without being spidery (Voluminous does do that unfortunately, you need to know how to work it.)
I always think it's strange how we attach memories to beauty products in particular - I do think of her when I see a L'oreal mascara because she wasn't meant to recommend it, it's not a Sephora brand.
I'm a convert and will be recommending this to anyone who asks!
