I’ll try any facial, cream or make-up brand going, but I’m super super cautious about my hair. Its baby fine and a bit weedy after years of extensions, dreads, bleach, shaved bits - not to mention the plastic extension stage (think cyberdog wannabe and you’re nearly there!) So I really shop around to find good hairdressers who know their stuff.
It doesn’t always mean finding the most expensive ones. I’ve had two amazing stylists at Pimps & Pinups so heartily recommend them to one and all. Prices start from £40ish for a cut and blow-dry which is really reasonable in London, and they’re open 7 days a week and really late too which is a bonus!
