When I first saw this online, I knew I wanted it in all it's gorgeous gold glory. It's such a different colour palette for Clarins and the packaging so utterly beautiful.
As you can see from my hand swatch, the pigment isn't all that strong and probably not dense enough for darker skin tones like mine unless you really use the layer/pat technique (ie lots of layers of patting the shadow on with a flat brush). Yet, there is something I still adore about these shadows, so if you're light to medium toned skin they're worth buying. They feel so special to use that I'm going to keep playing with them to see if I can work something out!
