TUTORIAL: Blush love

The rosy cheek is a key trend for AW10, but whats so new about rosy cheeks? We've been pinching our cheeks or applying beetroot juice to get a rosy flush for centuries. Here's my quick tip for blush with an impact or to add an edge to your look in the sweep of a brush.

1. Keep your brows strong and sculpted there needs to be something to balance out the intense cheek colour.
2. Use a blush with shimmer for a muted look or a pure hit of matte pigment for more drama. You could even use an eyeshadow in pink or red if you've got one! I used Illamasqua powder blush in Panic (£16)and started applying on the cheekbones.
3. Continue up into the temple and eye socket and below the eyebrow. Voila!

NOTE: For this look don't add blush onto the apples of your cheeks, its far too much and makes you look like a 14 year old scenester - BAD LOOK.
