This is my current HEART.
It's typically touchy feely American-style beauty writing: ‘Lip gloss and good blush technique will set you freeeeeeee’. But Scott seems like a nice chap and the book really does look at how make up can totally transform faces which is something a bit different. I love his contouring work using foundations, which is really good for darker skins (something Eve Pearl mentioned at IMATS) as they can look a bit flat in one single- colour foundation. He also uses a fabulous range of models, including Mrs Meade from Ugly Betty, I'm sure she has a real name, but she's a beautiful lady, so elegant…HEART her too.
It’s out today so definitely check it out if you’re looking for more advanced technique and editorial-type make up.
